Welcome To Hatgoods

We started Hatgoods because of one bad cap. It faded in three weeks, the brim curled the wrong way, and the stitching gave up before the season did. We thought: someone should just make this properly. So we did.
A cap is a small thing you wear every day
That is exactly why it should be built well. A cap takes the sun on the walk to work, the dust of a Dhaka afternoon, rain that arrives without warning, and a wash it was never designed for. Most caps are made to look good on day one. We wanted ours to look good in month eleven.
So we picked our fabric for how it behaves after washing, not on the roll. We reinforced the seams that carry weight. We use a brim that holds its curve instead of going soft, and eyelets that actually breathe. Nothing exotic — just the details that get skipped when the goal is to hit a price.
Design is what makes you pick it up. Construction is what makes you keep wearing it.
Six series, six moods
We do not release one cap at a time. We release series — small groups that share an idea, so you can find the one that sounds like you and stop scrolling.
Art
Graphics that belong on a wall, printed small enough to wear.
Hopes
Words worth repeating. Quiet type, clean colours, nothing shouted.
Marooned
Washed tones and worn-in texture, built for long afternoons.
Floyedian
Our most experimental line — colour and pattern doing something strange.
Don't Say No
Bold, direct, made for people who already know what they want.
Rockers
Loud where it counts. Black, chrome, and a little attitude.
How to keep a cap looking new
Four habits will add a year to any cap you own — ours or not.
- Never put it in the machine. The drum crushes the crown and warps the brim. Hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent.
- Spot clean first. Most caps only need the sweatband and the front panel cleaned. A soft brush handles it.
- Dry it on something round. A jar, a bowl, a folded towel — anything that holds the shape while it dries. Keep it out of direct sun.
- Store it upright. Stacking caps flattens them. Hang them or sit them on a shelf, crown up.
Ordering from us
We deliver across Bangladesh with cash on delivery, so you pay when the parcel reaches your hand. Dhaka orders typically arrive in 1–2 days, and the rest of the country in 2–4. You will get a tracking link by SMS as soon as the parcel leaves us.
This is the first entry in the Hatgoods Journal. Next up: how we choose a fabric, and the three we rejected before this one.
