Returns & Exchanges

We stand behind every cap we sell. If something is wrong with your order, we will make it right. Read below to understand how our returns and exchanges process works.
1. Eligibility
To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must meet all of the following conditions:
- The request is made within 7 days of delivery
- The item is unused, unworn, and in its original condition
- The item is in its original packaging with all tags attached
- You have proof of purchase (order number or confirmation email)
2. Accepted Reasons for Return
We accept returns and exchanges for the following reasons:
- You received a damaged or defective item
- You received the wrong item (different from what you ordered)
- The item does not match the description on our website
We do not accept returns for change of mind, incorrect size selected, or general dissatisfaction with the product appearance if it matches our description.
3. How to Request a Return or Exchange
Follow these steps to initiate a return or exchange:
Email us at service@hatgoods.com
Include your order number, the item name, and the reason for your return.
Attach a clear photo
For damaged or incorrect items, attach a clear photo of the item and packaging.
Wait for our response
We will review your request and respond within 2 business days with next steps.
Ship the item back (if required)
If approved, we will provide return shipping instructions. Do not send items back without prior approval.
4. Exchanges
If you would like to exchange an item for a different size or style, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. Exchanges are subject to stock availability.
If the item you want is out of stock, we will offer a refund or store credit instead.
5. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days. Please note that your bank or payment provider may take additional time to post the credit.
Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
6. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Items that have been worn, washed, or altered
- Items with removed tags or damaged packaging
- Sale or clearance items marked as final sale
- Gift cards
- Items returned after the 7-day window
