Sustainability

Inspired by nature, made for every mood.

We make caps in Bangladesh and sell them here at home. This page sets out what we currently do, what we don't yet do, and what we're working toward — in plain language, without the marketing gloss.

How we work today

Four things we can point to and stand behind. Each one is something we measure, or something we can show you.

01

Made in Bangladesh

Our caps are produced locally rather than imported. The supply chain is short, and we can visit the people who make them.

02

We make to demand

We produce in small runs based on what actually sells, instead of ordering large volumes and discounting whatever is left over.

03

Built to outlast a season

Replace this with what you actually do on construction — stitching, fabric weight, reinforcement at the seams. A cap that lasts three years instead of one is the most honest environmental claim we can make.

04

Fewer wasted trips

Every refused cash-on-delivery parcel is a round trip that didn't need to happen. We confirm orders before dispatch to cut that number down.

What we're working on

Targets with dates attached. We'll update this page as each one moves — including the ones we miss.

  • By end of 2026

    Switch to paper mailersIn progress

Move our outer packaging off poly mailers. Replace this line with the specific change and how you'll know it's finished.

  • By mid 2027

    Publish our supplier list

Name who makes what, and where. Replace with a target you can actually hit.

  • Ongoing

    Cut failed deliveriesIn progress

Order confirmation before dispatch and better address checks, so fewer parcels travel twice.

Where we fall short

We're a small operation, and we'd rather be straight with you than claim more than we can prove. We don't currently hold third-party environmental certification for our fabrics, and we don't measure our carbon footprint.

We're not calling our caps sustainable. We're saying these are the specific steps we've taken, and here's what comes next. If something on this page doesn't hold up, email us and we'll correct it.

Questions about how we make things?

Ask us anything about our materials, our suppliers, or anything on this page. We'll answer honestly, even when the answer is that we don't know yet.
