Gift Card Terms & Conditions
The simple rules behind giving a Hatgoods cap.
Purchase & delivery
Hatgoods gift cards are 100% digital — no physical card is shipped, and no delivery charge applies. The gift card is delivered instantly by email to the address provided at checkout, containing a unique code redeemable at shop.hatgoods.com. Buying it as a gift? Enter the recipient's email at checkout, or forward the gift card email to them yourself. Gift cards are issued in Bangladeshi Taka (৳).
Redemption
Enter the gift card code at checkout to apply the balance to your order. Gift cards can be used across multiple orders until the balance runs out. If your order total exceeds the card balance, the difference can be paid by any available payment method, including cash on delivery for the remaining amount. Gift cards apply to product and delivery charges alike.
Validity
Hatgoods gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Any unused balance after expiry is forfeited. The current balance and expiry date are shown via the link in the gift card email.
What gift cards can't do
Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash, refunded, or reloaded. They cannot be used to purchase other gift cards. Discount codes may or may not combine with gift cards depending on the offer's terms. Gift card purchases are final — the 30-day money-back guarantee applies to products, not to gift cards themselves. As a digital product, gift cards cannot be physically delivered, and no printed version is available from Hatgoods — though the email can be printed at home for gifting.
Returns paid by gift card
If you return a product purchased with a gift card under our returns policy, the refund is issued back to the gift card balance (or as store credit), not as cash.
Lost emails or compromised codes
Treat your gift card code like cash and keep the email safe. Deleted the email? Contact us with the purchaser's order number and we can resend it. Hatgoods is not responsible for codes used without permission before you notify us. If you believe your code has been compromised and it still holds a balance, contact us immediately at service@hatgoods.com — where possible, we'll freeze the remaining balance and reissue it.
Fraud & misuse
Hatgoods may cancel gift cards obtained fraudulently or used in violation of these terms. We may update these terms from time to time; the version published on this page applies.
